My Story

Hi all, 

I will be doing the London-Brighton cycle ride on September 16th and I hope you can sponsor me. 

BOTH is a tiny charity doing amazing work taking inner-city London school-kids on exchange trips to schools in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and offering some of the poorest South African students the opportunity to come to a London school in return.

They have just completed the South Africa leg of their latest exchange and, as usual, it has been a transformational experience for the children. You can see that on the updates of their Facebook page:

And BOTH do this on a proper shoe-string, cobbling together funds from quiz-nights, sponsored runs and whatnot.

Today more than ever I think we need to champion the cause of making friends across borders. And we need to start when people are young!
