My Story

Hello!

Broaden Out Their Horizons is a tiny charity doing amazing work, taking inner-city London school-kids on exchange trips to South African schools and offering South African students the oportunity to come to a London school in return.

I am lucky enough to work in a wonderful school with amazing people who really want to make a difference to the lives of others.  

BOTH have just completed the South Africa leg of their latest exchange which saw students from our school visit South Africa on a truly fantastic exchange.  It has been a transformational experience for the children.

And BOTH do this on a proper shoe-string, cobbling together funds from quiz-nights, sponsored runs and whatnot.  

So I will be doing the London-Brighton cycle ride on September 16th with a number of other staff members to raise money for BOTH and hope that you can sponsor me. We need to raise as much money as we can to keep doing this amazing work and to enable the South African students to visit us in London. 

It would be so wonderful if you could sponsor me for this worthy cause.  I have never cycled this far before in one go so it’s certainly going to be a challenge.
